Yazoo Mills has named Kellsie Woodward as its new human resources generalist. Woodward brings a wealth of experience and a passion for HR that perfectly aligns with Yazoo Mills’ company values.

Woodward has gained valuable experience through an internship in the HR department at a prominent glass manufacturing company. This internship provided a solid foundation for her future endeavors. Following her internship, Woodward embarked on a rewarding journey with a leading beauty retailer. Starting as a temporary associate, she quickly demonstrated her adaptability and eagerness to learn. She embraced every opportunity, progressing from administrative coordinator, where she handled tasks like ordering supplies, managing invoices, and planning events, to HR coordinator. In this role, she spearheaded the full-cycle hourly recruitment process and even traveled to Florida to train the HR team at a new fulfillment center.

Woodward’s dedication continued to shine as she advanced to the role of HR specialist. In this position, she expertly managed timekeeping and payroll for a large distribution center.

She is driven to achieve her professional goals, with obtaining the prestigious SHRM-CP certification being a top priority. This certification will further solidify her expertise in the HR field and enhance her ability to contribute to the success of the Yazoo team.
